Summary:
A servant to a king allows curiosity to get the best of him; he eats what is under the king's silver lid that is always kept hidden. Under the lid, the servant finds a white snake. Once devoured, the servant gets remarkable ability to talk to animals.
Once day, the queen's ring goes missing and the blame gets put on the poor servant. In search for proof of his innocence, the servant overhears a group of ducks. He hears one duck say that he swallowed the ring and has him killed. For his discovery of the queen's ring, the servant is set free forever.
In his freedom, the servant sets out and saves many animals who are in trouble, who later assist him in winning the heart of the princess. The poor servant finds his way back to the kingdom, except this time, as royalty.
Setting: All the Land/Castle/Out in Nature
Characters: King, Queen, Trusty Servant, Animals [Sparrows, Horse, Fish, Ravens, Snake, Ant-King], Princess
Plot: Servant eats king's meal [white snake] and receives a remarkable ability to speak to animals. This newfound talent prove his innocence, freed from work and eventually, the princess as his bride.
