An evening scene always captures my heart and floods my mind with happy memories of vacations and new places where you aimlessly walk to discover the new world around you. The people are important but seem to be amongst the work rather than a tight, close up view.
The people are distant and the cars and animals take precedent. I liked this one because it has a cartoony feel that really brings a different element to the work.
The scenery or entourage really make this work. The single person sitting on the bench amongst it gives the viewer something to find almost.
The figures are used in a unique way in this work. I find it visually enticing and may want to try this different approach.
I enjoy the innocence of the trees and the purity of the snow and the small figures bring me back to when I lived in Minnesota and loved seeing snowy mornings. I miss the "sparkly" trees when I wake.
